In a tragic incident in Janakpuri, West Delhi, a 25-year-old man named Kamal lost his life after allegedly falling into an open pit dug for a Delhi Jal Board (DJB) construction project late at night. Police and civic authorities recovered his body and motorcycle from the bottom of the excavation early on February 6, 2026, raising serious concerns about public safety and negligence at work sites.
