Описание: Twenty-four years ago our four founding Sisters, Mother Assumpta, O.P., Sr. Mary Samuel, O.P., Sr. Joseph Andrew, O.P., and Sr. John Dominic, O.P. gathered in private at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. John Cardinal O'Connor established our religious community, the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist which has grown to over 150 members of the community, with 93 Sisters under perpetual vows today. With overflowing grateful hearts, we give praise and thanks to God for all the good He has done and continues to do! Please keep our community in your prayers!

We dedicate this hymn, Lumen Ecclesiae, to all the members of the Dominican Order across the world during this year of forthcoming celebration of the 8th centenary of the death of our Holy Father, St. Dominic.

Oh Lumen Ecclesiae, Light of the Church foretold,
Oh torch e’er burning bright, in ardor never cold.
