A 30-year-old doctor, Renuka Santosh Honakande, was brutally murdered by her in-laws in Belagavi, Karnataka, on May 18, 2025, for not bearing children. To cover up the crime, they tied her body to a two-wheeler and dragged it over 100 metres to stage it as an accident.
