Learn how to make a Sazerac, AKA a New Orleans Old Fashioned!
Ingredients:
2 oz Rye Whiskey
A few dashes of Peychaud's Bitters
Drops of Absinthe
1 tsp Sugar
1 Lemon
Water (Liquid & Frozen)
Steps:
1. Combine Sugar, Water, and Peychaud's Bitters and stir until Sugar is dissolved
2. Add Rye Whiskey
3. Add Ice and stir until glass is frosty
4. Coat your service glass with Absinthe
5. Strain cocktail into absinthe-coated glass
6. Squeeze citrus oil from lemon peel and garnish
And that's it! Enjoy!
