It matters a great deal to Prof Xuhui Huang that other people can see - and understand – what drives his passion for computational chemistry. His focus is the structural dynamics of proteins and the application and evolution of chemical theories to develop algorithms and computer simulation techniques to make “movies” of how these complex workhorses of the cells in our bodies go about their business; how they do this continuously, and for the most part, accurately; and how errors occur.
