Spring is on its' way in Frankfurt, on this glorious golden morning in March. There are dozens of pairs of Mandarin ducks, various geese pairs, other ducks, and a magnificent heron in this short video.
Want to walk here yourself? Take the #17 tram from the main train station, direction Neu Isenberg. Get off at Ober-Schweinstege.
Great restaurant out here too in case you get a bit peckish on your walk around the Jakobi Weiher.
The Frankfurt City Forest is 11,000 acres, so there are plenty of paths for walking. We fortunately bought this from the Emperor in the 1300s!
