Описание: The final day of opening round action ended early for The Netherlands and Australia as storm clouds took over the field in Prague.

Australia's opening pitcher, Layton Reid, had already flagged 9 Dutch batters and was icing his arm after 4.0 innings of work where he gave up 2 earned runs off 4 hits. The Netherlands' starter, Enio Kwas, lasted 3.0 innings giving up 4 earned runs while striking out a batter.

Both teams had unusual circumstances on the bags with wild pitches, errant throws and fielder interference all playing a part. There was even an illegally batted ball. On the flip side of things were excellent batting, with bunts and sac flies perfectly executed, along with some heads up base running, from both sides, to take advantage of all the opportunities - odd as they may have been.
