SINGAPO人: Discovering Chinese Singaporean Culture 新加坡华人·探索本土华族文化
The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) will reopen its inaugural permanent exhibition - SINGAPO人: Discovering Chinese Singaporean Culture, on 13 July 2020, Monday. Opened to the public in March this year, the exhibition casts a spotlight on how Chinese heritage, cultural interactions, and public policies have shaped Chinese culture in Singapore, and led it to evolve in ways which are different from other Chinese communities in the world.
The exhibition will be open from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Mondays, and 10:00am to 8:00pm from Tuesday to Sunday. Admission is free. All exhibition visitors will be provided with disposable gloves and have to adhere to safe management measures.
To ensure that our Chinese Singaporean culture remains accessible to all, the Centre has also introduced a series of online offerings.
Members of the public can head to the SCCC YouTube Channel to discover lesser-known stories behind our local customs and traditions, as well as relive the Centre’s past programme
