The Symbol of Greece & an Unforgettable Sunset

Описание: The symbol of Greece, the oldest amphitheatre, and the most amazing location to watch the sunset. The 4th day in Greece was my day off riding, and it was one of a kind.

— First on the list is the Acropolis — the Citadel of Athens, sheltering the most famous temple in the world — the Parthenon. I booked a guided tour and learned a few new things, which is something I consider of high importance. It's great that so many people visit this place. But be careful — you’re not allowed to touch the marble. Never.
— Second is the oldest amphitheatre, the one at Thorikos — a theatre with a capacity of around 4,000 people, built between 525–480 BC. The region was rich in ancient times because of the silver mines there. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding, this theatre was abandoned and will not be fully restored anytime soon.
— Third one is a place I had wanted to visit at sunset — the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sunion. The scenic route there makes me want to go again, but on a motorcycle this time. One of the richest routes in terms of views takes you to a cape that shows the sunset in an unforgettable way. This location is worth a million visits.
