A special Federal Railroad Administration inspection train makes it's way through Longmont! These trains are pretty special and rare, so is me being awake this early to actually catch it.
Now from what I understand, these trains are sort of like Geometry Trains, it has a bunch of monitors and gadgets inside to inspect the tracks, making sure the railway is FRA compliant and safe. A bunch of people I'm sure are inside the train as well, keeping track of all the data. It's a really cool and unique type of train and I am really happy I got to see it!
