The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) hosted the 13th Annual International Compliance & Ethics Awards Dinner during the 2017 Compliance & Ethics Institute on Monday evening, October 16, 2017. This event recognizes those who have made a significant contribution to the growing profession of compliance and ethics.

Bojan Bajić is co-founder and CEO of Net Consulting ltd. from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, specialized to support implementation of corporate compliance and ethics programs and development of integrity standards in variety of high-risk areas and different industries in the Western Balkans region. He is also the coordinator of Initiative for Whistleblower Protection, where he played the leading role in adoption of the first European whistleblowers protection law with pre-court protecting mechanism in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Višnja Marilović works as a lead ethics and compliance consultant at Net Consulting Ltd. from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, specialized to support public and private clients in implementation of corporate compliance and ethics programs. Her career in compliance started in 2011, at the moment when she reported corruption in the finance department in a public company, although at that time she was not aware of compliance, or of what whistleblowing was. Her family was under police protection for two months after her reporting of corruption. Two years later, her case was used as a case study for development and adoption of the law for protection of whistleblowers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
