Here's another installment in my instructional video series for hammered dulcimer. This time it's a reel, La Grondeuse. I'm sure it's been folk processed, so just take it as the Bill Spence version. After playing the tune slowly, I've tried to illustrate the difference between just playing the notes as written, and how to make it into "music" with flair and "hing", as fiddler George Wilson calls it. George also calls it "puttin' some stank on it".
