Footprints in the Sand | An Inspirational Short Story
This is a popular poem written around 1920s. It narrates a dream of a person who sees two pairs of footprints in the sand, one of which belonged to the lord and another to him or herself. At some points, the two pairs of footprints became one. The man asked the LORD why there is only one pair and it happened during the lowest part of his life. The Lord explained that the one set of footprints belongs to him and he is carrying the protagonist.
