When you connected the battery on your NEW R7FG receiver, it's cannot be powered on?
May be the power is mistakenly connected to BAT port.
BAT port doesn't power supply R7FG but only supports vehicel's battery voltage #telemetry. Just check your connection to confirm.
Another 2S battery needs to be connected with either channel/pins on right of R7FG and power it individually (as the voltage range of #RX is 4.6V-10V).
Plus: Telemetry of maximum 8S battery supported for R7FG. maximum 8*4.2v=33.6v.
