We are officially back competing for 2026 and I honestly could not be happier.

This was our first competition of the year and it felt so good to load up, get plaiting again, and head back out. There is just something about the first one of the season that feels fresh and full of possibility.

I took Jammy, and as always she tried her absolute heart out. It genuinely means so much to be back out competing with her again. She knows her job, she always gives me everything, and she reminded me exactly why I love doing this so much.

That said, it would not be competing without at least one slightly chaotic moment. We did have a bit of an oh dear situation which you will see in the video. It was one of those moments that makes you question everything for about five seconds before you pull yourself together and carry on. You will definitely know when it happens.

Overall though, I am so proud of how she went and I feel so excited about what this season could hold for us. It feels like a really positive place to start, and I cannot wait to see where the rest of 2026 takes us!
