Mushroom Sauce Meatballs
Serves 4-6, 15 min Prep, 25 min Cook
A delicious main course that everyone will love, served with rice or mashed potatoes.
Ingredients for Mushroom Sauce Meatballs
For the meatballs:
500 grams ground beef
1 medium onion, grated
4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Less than 1 teaspoon salt
A handful of finely chopped parsley
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion
10-12 mushrooms
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoons flour
400 ml water
Half a teaspoon salt
Half a teaspoon vegetable seasoning
Less than half a teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
A pinch of finely chopped parsley
How to Make Mushroom Sauce Meatballs?
1-Place the ground meat in a bowl, add the necessary ingredients for the meatballs, and knead well.
2-Form round meatballs and let them rest in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
3-Add three to four tablespoons of olive oil to the pan.
4-Fry the meatballs on both sides, but don't overcook them as they will cook in the sauce. Remove the meatballs to a plate.
5-Add butter to the same pan, melt it, add diced onion, and sauté.
6-Add finely chopped mushrooms and sauté, then add tomato paste and stir.
7-Then add the flour and spices, stir, pour in the water, and stir. Once it starts to boil, add the meatballs.
8-Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and cook for fifteen minutes. Enjoy your meal!
