Day hiking in Sweden - Around Finjasjön, Hässleholm | During the summer of 2022 I did multiple hikes in Skåne. Some longer, some shorter. This was one of the shorter but one with beautiful and interesting nature. As on many other hikes I brought my trusted companion, the border collie Boss, with me.
Lake Finja is a popular place where people from Hässleholm go to swimming and cool off in the summer. During the winter the areas around the lake are used for excursions. There is a trail, Finjasjöleden, around the lake that is 18km (11 miles) long that is perfect for day hiking. I have done this walk in the past but am happily coming back.
