March 19, 2016 - Day 2 of my second Mooney flying adventure to the Caribbean. We were supposed to depart Fort Pierce at 10AM but received a EDCT that kept us on the ground till 11. The late departure had us arrive in St Thomas right around sunset after the 7.5 hour long flight. We flew past the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, and Puerto Rico to make it to the US Virgin Islands.
We spent time at the beach and visited Coral World in St Thomas.
This video gives a bit of an inside look of what long distance cross country flying is like in my Mooney M20J 201ER.
