Описание: https://www.theWHEELSMITH.net presents a quick video on how we make 2-piece wheels. We start with our formed centerpiece being trued up on the lathe, then we flatten the back to fit snug on your hub with a sanding disc. We take the raw rim and punch a whole for the valve stem and clean up the machine welds. Next, we set the backspace on our press and press the center into the rim. Now on to another truing machine to be sure the rim is true to the centerpiece with some turns and work with a brass hammer. Once trued we go to weld in the center section and it's off for shipping (if wanted paintable) or for powdercoat. Chrome rims get plated before pressing the center into the rim, this allows for full chrome coverage in the seam.
