Plot:
Warrior Lanling is a fable about “soul and mask”. The whole drama develops a new plot from the legendary story of the famous Prince of Lanling in the Northern Qi Dynasty. The Prince of Lanling is set up as a weak prince who hides his true temperament with his daughter's attitude because of the witness of the murder of the father. Bloody, handed him the relics of his predecessor-the big face of the beast, and the Prince of Lanling wearing the big face magically added the majestic spirit, invincible on the battlefield, but also at the same time reached another extreme of ruthless, cruel and terrible human nature. In the end, Qi Hou used the sacrifice of motherhood to help Prince of Lanling say goodbye to the lost and return to the self. The whole drama tells an allegory of "soul and mask" in the form of artistic symbolism, which reflects the observation of the fate of tragedy, and triggers the audience's thinking and discussion of human nature and heart.
