Broken is the second single from Lillie's EP "Petrichor" which was recorded and produced by Mark Lizotte "Diesel".
The clip was created by Eden Mulholland from Faux Design. Lillie and Mulholland had always thought of doing a music clip using his Instagram account but there never seemed to be the right track or time until now. With the coming of Covid-19 and isolation from society, Lillie and Mulholland relished the opportunity to create an honest yet simple reflection of Broken. All filmed on mobile devices.
The song shares the importance of being open about our inner pain, to talk about the dark side of our lives and to ask those close to us "are you ok"?
Lillie believes that to be Broken makes us unique and that our imperfections can be a blessing in disguise. As long as we can talk and listen we can continue to grow.
This clip shares a simple yet powerful message that is significant during these strange times.
