Raw v0.9.0.5 footage of an entire multiplayer match playing as Soviet War Miner. It is not as action-packed as the usual gameplay, you have been warned.
With how expensive advanced Soviet units are, the AI War Miner may not be enough to keep the Soviet pressure going, in terms of economy. This is where player-controlled War Miners come in, as one ore dump can give 600 credits per player (1200 credits if gems). For this particular map, there is a distant gem field that the AI ore miners will never visit, so if there are no enemy Allied troops to harass, it can be a good opportunity to get gems.
In most cases, players will sell their ore miner after one ore dump or two. Unlike the other harvesters, the War Miner's gun allows it to become a tanky anti-infantry vehicle, so it can contribute to fights. Be wary that Allied players will be more than glad to focus a War Miner down.
