🇨🇦🤝🇹🇷 Earlier this month, the Canada Turkey Business Council along with DEİK - Foreign Economic Relations Board, and Türkiye Madenciler Derneği visited the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE)’s Market Centre in Toronto during #PDAC2025 — and had the honour of ringing the bell to open the market!
The visit marked an important step in strengthening ties between Canada and Türkiye, particularly in the mining and investment sectors.
Dignitaries in attendance included the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye Embassy in Ottawa and the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye Consulate General in Toronto, underscoring the significance of the occasion.
Mehmet Yılmaz, Chairman of the Miners Association of Turkey and head of the Canada-Türkiye Business Council, offered remarks on the tremendous geological potential and skilled workforce in Türkiye. He also highlighted Canada's global leadership in mining and finance — a solid foundation for future collaboration and investment.
