Hand Flapping | Autism Stimming Behaviors. In this video, we display our son's hand flapping and autism stimming behaviors. My son Liam has been diagnosed with high functioning autism and ADHD. Liam has recently started hand-flapping his again. He first started hand flapping at age three. Liam is now 6 years of age and has started once again. We noticed that he will start stimming when he gets excited! He says that he can't control his hand motions.
