Heathrow Airport has insisted it can build a third runway within a decade, at a cost of £21 billion.

The airport said it would be able handle another 276,000 flights a year as part of a huge reconstruction project, including new terminals and supporting infrastructure.
Environmental charities are worried it won't help the UK meet its climate commitments, while a rival, potentially less costly plan has also been unveiled.
