Mayor Beth Sweeny is joined this week by Sam Ferris, one of the City’s Code Enforcement Officers, who has proudly served St. Augustine Beach for the past five years. Sam shares insight into the important work of the Code Enforcement Office, including proactive inspections, responding to citizen concerns, short-term rental compliance, tree inspections, and helping resolve ordinance-related issues throughout the community.
Learn how residents can report concerns, what types of issues fall under code enforcement, and how the City works to resolve matters efficiently—often before they reach the code board.
