After an enjoyable ride to Oyster Bay, I couldn’t help but notice a big park and a Yacht Club right at the station. There were kids playing soccer in the soccer field right across from the station and I saw two Lasers being sailed by two sailors who came from the club. Kind of makes me look back at when I was sailing them before and now. I hope to do racing in a laser in the future with American Yacht Club in Rye perhaps in the near future. Another interesting thing that came out of this run was that when we were passing Elmont-UBS Arena, we passed Retired Railman Horn Guy who was doing spotting at the station. You can see his angle here @    • Railfanning the dynamic Elmont LIRR locati...  . According to Railman Horn Guy, we were hitting track speeds of 80 MPH. It felt like a rocket on the express portion of this route. This was a lot of fun and I’m happy to have started branching out for you guys and I hope you guys enjoy this ride.
