In this video, I use the CBX (Cross Border Xpress), a pedestrian bridge that connects the Tijuana International Airport in Mexico to a terminal in San Diego, California. It allows travelers to cross the US-Mexico border quickly and conveniently, bypassing long wait times at traditional land ports.
Cross Border Xpress (CBX) is aunique infrastructure project consisting of a 390-foot enclosed sky-bridge and a terminal in San Diego that connects directly to the Tijuana International Airport.
Passengers walk across the bridge, which spans the U.S.-Mexico border, after having their documents processed. You must purchase a ticket and have a valid boarding pass for a flight out of Tijuana to use it. It is a faster and more convenient way to travel between the two countries for those flying to or from Tijuana.
