(PSI-PCI), and Francois Burman, VP of safety services at DAN, discuss oxygen cleaning of scuba equipment. They address the common misconception that oxygen cleaning is required only when oxygen content exceeds 40%, explaining that it's actually necessary for any gas enriched above 21%. While oxygen cleaning can technically be performed at home, Mark and Francois advise that it's best performed by professionals who have formal, function-specific training and regular practice.
