CRANES are an integral part of many industries - from mine sites, to city skylines, construction sites, on docks and in workshops and they are widely used in the transport industry. Cranes exist in an enormous variety of forms - each tailored to a specific use - they do the heavy lifting and make difficult tasks possible.

The South Australian Crane Association (SACA) is an industry body set up to help our members deliver a safe, efficient and compliant service to their customers. It's run by our members who come from crane hire companies, crane manufacturers, marketers, repairers, suppliers of lifting equipment, finance companies, traffic controllers, engineering firms, training companies and other interested bodies. And to keep abreast of national issues, we are affiliated with The Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) , the national peak body representing our industry.

So what can the South Australian Crane Association do for you?
If you are a crane owner or operator, or if you are part of the industry supporting crane owners, then the association can help you keep up to date with all the latest requirements relating to cranes, road transport issues and Work Health and Safety issues. And you can help the industry formulate regulations and standards which impact our everyday work lives.
