Reproaches Setting II

Описание: Between 2011 and 2016, I composed five choral settings of the Reproaches for Good Friday -- some in English, some in Latin, and all of them with the Greek phrases (Hagios o Theos, etc.). This recording is part of the second setting (it features only the first refrain, which comes in two instantiations), which offers a good sense of the "feel" of it.

The performance is by the Ecclesia Choir, under the direction of Timothy Woods, in concert at St. John Cantius Church, Chicago, June 25, 2017.
