This Video demonstrates synchronization of a Maxon BLDC Motor driven using MaxPos drive and a Kollmorgen BLDC motor driven using Kollmorgen AKD drive. The control of both drives is done using a CompactRIO controller from National Instruments and LabVIEW and SoftMotion has been used to program the cRIO.
The Motors have encoders of different resolutions and are running at 4800 rpm synchronously, by implementation of Electronic Gearing. A pencil lead has been used to connect the two axes.
