The journey begins at London King’s Cross, where I visit the LNER First Class Lounge before boarding. Once onboard, I take a detailed look at the First Class seating, layout, and overall comfort, before comparing it briefly with Standard Class.

I also review the First Class onboard catering, including the breakfast menu served on this service, and share my honest thoughts on the food, service, and overall experience.

Along the way, we pass through Peterborough, Doncaster, and Wakefield, before arriving into Leeds, one of the busiest railway stations in the north of England.

I break down the ticket prices, including how much I paid for my Standard Class ticket, how I upgraded using the Seatfrog app, and whether the final cost represents good value for money.
