SLR Magic Microprimes E Mount - FX6 Test Footage

Описание: I recently bought the Sony fx6 & the SLR Magic Microprimes to go with them. The lenses have a great FF coverage and beautiful character. I shot this test wide open on all lenses because I figure it shows the character of the lens fully & because I didn't really have time to test every aperture.

Pros:
Flares are awesome
Character is really nice on the edges of frame
Very solid build quality
Great FF coverage
Interesting bokeh
Price point
(all this considering I actually like edge softness / warping / halation, interesting bokeh in my lenses, you might not though).

Cons:
Breathing is pretty hectic, but I also don't really care in all honesty lol.

This test was shot in Cine EI (graded with the Buttery ARRI Natural lut)*** for the outdoor shots and S-CINETONE for the indoor shots.

I love these lenses. I feel like the lenses aren't spoken about more because Native Sony E mount lenses haven't been that desirable in the past. With the introduction of the awesome FX series of camera bodies, I feel like Sony have made native E mount lenses more desirable. I recommend these lenses!

*** Interestingly enough, the Buttery ARRI Natural Lut works better than the Sony Natural in terms of highlight roll off and shadow retention. Just thought that was interesting.
