The Story of Emmanuel Joseph Sieyès, a Prominent Figure in the French Revolution: In a time of turmoil and revolution, there was a cleric named Emmanuel Joseph Sieyès, known for his liberal ideas and influential writings.

Before the outbreak of the French Revolution, Sieyès wrote a pamphlet entitled "What is the Third Estate?", in which he argued for the right of the third estate - which made up 98% of the population - to have real representation in government.
