STORYLINE:
A collection of Easter Eggs, made by the famous Russian Jeweller Carl Faberge, went on display in the Kremlin's Patriarch Palace in Moscow on Tuesday.
The nine eggs were made between 1885-1916 and presented by the Russian Emperors Alexander III and Nicholas II to their spouses.
The Faberge collection was bought by Russian businessman and millionaire, Viktor Vekselberg, from the heirs of American media magnate Malcolm Forbes earlier this year.
The exact price Vekselberg paid for the collection has not been revealed, but is believed to be more than 100 (m) million US dollars.
It is considered to be the largest and most expensive collection to be privately owned by a Russian citizen.
Vekselberg's foundation "Time Link" plans to show the exhibits in several other Russian cities later this year, including St. Petersburg, Irkutsk and Yekaterinburg.
