Pick up a camper and hit the North Coast 500 - How did it go? Our 1st trip in the campervan.

Описание: After some years deliberating a self build on assorted vehicle bases the opportunity came along to make a purchase of what is our first campervan - a Trigano Tribute based on a 2.3 litre 5 speed Fiat which we bought from Oaktree Motorhomes in Nottinghamshire. Big up to the whole team there for looking after us and making this possible.

As full time boat dwellers for approaching 2 decades we are pretty used to small space living, being energy conscious and a high level of self sufficiency. We also knew that we were not dong this to stay on sites - we are very much of the 'wild' persuasion.

Although I've made short videos for many years I'll admit I've learned a lot whilst making this one and I know it is far from perfect - and promise I will get better.

My paying hobby is photography and I'm CAA licensed to operate my drone so this is our way of 'getting out there' - not having to get up at ridiculous o'clock for sun rises and always having a bed, toilet, washing and catering facilities with us.

There are plenty of inside tours of this type of van and we aren't planning on changing much at all, but I will in future explain how we achieve a decent level of self sufficiency. Our first trip was 9 nights away, only 2 of those were on sites - all the others were 'wild'.
