The NBA 2K series has lost its shine for many fans, largely because of its increasing focus on microtransactions, which can feel like a cash grab, especially in modes like MyCareer and MyTeam. On top of that, each annual release seems to offer only minor updates, making it feel like you're paying full price for what is essentially the same game year after year. The game has also been plagued with bugs and glitches, leaving players frustrated with the lack of polish. Overall, it feels like NBA 2K has prioritized profits over delivering fresh, quality content, and that’s left a lot of long-time fans disappointed.
