Mitsubishi BRP Series End and Face mills is an ideal Round indexable insert milling solution for Die Mold type applications and the perfect follow-up to our High Feed AJX roughing cutter. Multi-Functional BRP cutters are capable of Pocketing, Ramping, Helical Boring, Copy and Plunge milling with pockets protected by a grade profile that enables BRP cutters suitable for machining a wide range of materials including harden steel and heat resistant alloys.

BRP cutters are machined from a special heat resistant alloy for long body life and incorporate matching body location flat to insert face flat to prevent insert rotation. Extra positional security is provided by the use of Mitsubishi's Anti-Fly-Insert (A.F.I.) technology that prevents insert movement when high cutting loads and centrifugal forces are encountered. The free cutting single sided BRP insert can be positively indexed up to eight times and is available in CVD and PVD grades including Miracle Coated VP15TF.

BRP cutters are available in variety of standard lengths in both Inch and Metric diameters ranging from 0.500 up to 4.000"diameter. Inch BRP cutters are categorized by insert diameter that fits in the cutter body. Inch series BRP cutters are below:
BRP3 (accepts a .313"dia. insert)
BRP4 (accepts a .375" dia. insert)
BRP6 (accepts a .500" dia. insert)
BPR7 (accepts a .625: dia. insert)
