Inspired by actual events, this harrowing, often brutally intense drama plunges into the ordeal of three October 7 hostages, capturing with startling immediacy the claustrophobia, fear, and fierce will to survive inside Gaza’s tunnels. Nadav (Shahar Tavoch), Oren (Tomer Machloof), and Alif (Wael Hamdun) forge a fragile bond with a fellow captive as they absorb relentless abuse and the disorienting stretch of time that defines captivity. A desperate chance at escape thrusts them into an even more perilous bid for rescue, where chaos, miscommunication, and the fog of war carry devastating consequences. Informed by testimony from a survivor and praised for its raw realism and superb performances from an Israeli ensemble, with supporting turns by Judd Hirsch and Selma Blair, this urgent, wrenching account is both difficult to watch and impossible to forget.
