In this episode, we will perform static and dynamic malware analysis.
Static analysis involves examining a given malware sample without running it, whereas Dynamic analysis is carried out systematically in a sandbox environment.
We will use VirusTotal to get more information about the malware, and also Wireshark will be used to check beacons. Strings, Notepad++ and HxD tools will also aid us in our analysis.
