How well is European banking supervision working in practice?

Описание: The euro area’s integrated framework for the licensing and prudential supervision of banks, known as European banking supervision or the single supervisory mechanism, has been in place since late 2014. Following up on a past stocktaking with its top official Andrea Enria (in November 2020), this session of the PIIE discussion series Financial Statements, held on January 26, 2022, considers European banking supervision from the bottom up and debate its achievements and shortcomings so far.
