Pixar's Brave Has A Problem No One Talks About

From its beautiful Celtic setting and Scottish culture to its themes of rebellion, dishonoring parents, rejecting marriage, and even turning to witchcraft, Brave is a movie that has divided audiences for years. While I love the animation and atmosphere, I think the moral behind the story is deeply flawed — and in this critique, I’ll explain why.

Along the way, I compare Brave’s message to Turning Red, showing how Pixar has repeated the same formula of rebellion and rejecting tradition in multiple films.
