Описание: RIBBON CUTTING!!! The City of Dallas, Dallas Park and Recreation hosted a ribbon cutting for the first portion of the new Trinity Forest Spine Trail, which is part of Allyn Media client The Loop Dallas' work to connect Dallas to Dallas with a 50-mile walk and bike path. It was SO FUN!!!

Saturday, October 21, at 10:00 AM, speakers and honored guests gathered: Dallas County Commissioner Hon. Theresa Daniel (Dist. 1); and Dallas City Council members Hon. Jesse Moreno (Dist. 2), Hon. Adam Bazaldua (Dist. 7), Hon. Paula Blackmon (Dist. 9); join Park and Recreation board chair Arun Agarwal and members Fonya Naomi Mondell (Dist. 2), Daniel Wood (Dist. 7), and Maria Hasbany (Dist. 9); and Director of Dallas Park & Recreation John Jenkins; along with The Loop Dallas leadership Jeff Ellerman (The Loop Dallas board chairman) and Philip Hiatt Haigh (executive director).

Dallas Park & Recreation Assistant Director M. Renee Johnson kicked the event off with a warm welcome to a crowd including Bryan Adams High School band (FANTASTIC) and the Ferguson Road Initiative and sponsors Atmos, Mill Creek Residential Trust LLC, Oncor Electric Delivery, El Rio Grande Latin Market, Atmos Energy, Bishop Lynch High School, White Rock Medical Center, City Credit Union Karrington & Co, Lakehill Preparatory School, LDG Development, LLC, Lone Star Credit Union, Resource One Credit Union, Dr. Angela Scheurie, Schwab Bank, Uplift Education.

ABOUT THE LOOP DALLAS
Thanks to public investment and partnership, and private dollars and leadership, The Loop Dallas will unite Dallas with a city-wide bike and pedestrian active transportation system that joins 39 miles of existing trails in Dallas with 11 miles of newly built trails. These final 11 miles are the most complex and costly to deliver which is why a public private partnership is so important. It is a legacy amenity that will benefit Dallas for generations.

The Loop Dallas is working closely with City of Dallas, Dallas ParkandRecreation, Dallas County, Texas Department of Transportation, private donors and corporate partners to make green space available throughout Dallas and increase access to public transportation with a focus on equity.
