Описание: AI professor Thilo Stadelmann explores the roots of our fear of AI, tracing it back not to real technological threats, but to misunderstood limitations and science fiction-fueled worldviews. Through powerful stories and keen technological insights, he shows how AI is not a rival to fear but a tool to extend human capability – if we grasp our unique worth and identity as human beings. Thilo Stadelmann is the Founding Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. A computer scientist by training with a Doctor of Science degree from Marburg University, Germany, he held engineering and leadership roles in the automotive industry for several years prior to his appointment at the ZHAW. He is (co-)founder and part of the senior leadership of several organizations in the digital space. His current research interests include representation learning and the societal implications of AI.
