Celebrate Oscar Peterson Day on August 15, 2024 with a special Live to Air concert featuring drummer Jim Doxas, pianist Robi Botos and bassist Pat Collins with special guest Celine Peterson performing the music of the Canadian jazz legend.
As you may know, not only has JAZZ.FM91 proclaimed August 15, the day he was born, Oscar Peterson Day, so did the City of Toronto back in 2022. This year, during our full-day broadcast, we’ll also share memories and thoughts from musicians such as Terri Lyne Carrington, Christian McBride, Marcus Roberts and more with their thoughts on Oscar. Plus, stay tuned for this Live to Air concert at 7 p.m. ET.
