Are you planning a visit to the Top of the Rock (TOR) in 2024 but not sure what to expect? Let me guide you through the experience step by step. TOR is conveniently located on 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue. As you arrive, look for the red carpet near the NBC studio. If you already have your ticket, simply proceed to the second floor to scan it. For those without tickets, head downstairs to the Box Office. Pass holders can also redeem their tickets there, including City Pass, Go City, Sightseeing Pass, and other vouchers. Once you have your ticket, ensure the date and time slot are correct before heading to the second floor. After that, as you walk out from the Box Office, you will see another entrance on your left-hand side.

Upon reaching the second floor, your ticket will be scanned, and you'll pass through security. When you get tk the red carpet waiting about 10 to 15 minutes depends how the on weekend or holiday. Then prepare for a 43-second elevator ride to Level 1 (Floor 67). Don't forget to look up and experience the coldest elevator ride in New York City!

Level 1 is indoors and offers photography opportunities, relaxation areas, and coffee. Above Level 1, you'll find two outdoor observation decks on Floors 69 and 70. On Level 2 it’s glass around experience the Beam Experience and enjoy breathtaking views of the city. Level 3 you guys can see the 360 view without glass. For those in need of restroom facilities, they're conveniently located on Floor 66 (accessible via elevator). After enjoying the view, return to Level 1 and follow signs to the correct waiting line for the descent.

Before leaving, make sure to visit the gift shop on the last-stop elevator. Here, you'll find a variety of beautiful items including mugs, T-shirts, jackets, and memorable gifts for friends and family.
