This video represents only nether portal builds, and if you are not running it or plan on running it then soulburn is of no use to you for DPS gains sadly, unless you want it for utility or its actual purpose.

Soulburn Weaving is definitely a DPS increase by a small margin, and if you're like me and want to be the best or do the MOST damage then you're definitely gonna want to practice & perfect this as it is around 1%-3% gain overall depending on your nerzhul's volition RNG.
Can get 2-3 soulburns in depending on shard RNG & timings, aswell as how good you can react to shard use. 2 is definitely recommended, 3 is definitely advanced but doable. With more haste it gives you more time to react to soulburn/shard dumps.
