Infact, sometimes choosing the biggest rock set in a classic engagement ring can be the worst thing you can do!

If your partner is a very understated, practical and hands-on person they will not thank you for being given a ring that they can never wear!

In my view an engagement ring is supposed to be worn for the rest of their lives and it should therefore be comfortable, reflect their style and personality and be practical in their lifestyle.

Now by saying this I don’t advocate going for boring overly simplistic rings.
There are many different styles of ring that are practical, understated yet elegant, beautiful and completely unique.
