Setting Up Security Systems For The Off Grid Homestead

Описание: I have been setting up security for my homestead since Thursday. I have not been doing all of my daily videos because I am working on getting the place safe and secure so that nobody can ever sneak in and cause trouble again without all the evidence I will need.

I first put up a chain over the drive way with a no trespassing sign on it. The police said that I had to have no trespassing signs all over the place in order for them to be able to help me. I even put a no trespassing sign on the front door of my porch leading into the RV.

I got some game cameras to put up around the property as well. These cameras have motion sensors and take a photo or video clip if anything passes by. They have their own battery and memory card. They are fully self contained security systems which are weather proof. You just set them up and check from time to time.

The game cameras will also be cool to see what animals, if any, are passing through my meadow at night. I will share any animal videos I may get with these cameras.

I have a friend who works in security that is also helping me set up some better surveillance so that my place will be protected if anyone ever tries to enter the property again.

I have been working very hard on setting up a more secure place for my homestead so I have not been doing my daily videos. I will be back to work again in full soon.

In the mean time I have been doing a bit of DIY work on the homestead as time permits and will share this work with you.

I am not sharing anything about my home security on video so that any intruders will not be able to disable the systems.

Again, this will make some great video if animals enter the place at night as well.
